Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
In Ephesians 5:1-2, Paul exhorts the church in Ephesus to be "imitators of God." For Paul, this imitation is the very essence of what it means to be a disciple of Christ; something we are both called and empowered to become.
But how do we do this?
Paul says it's simple, set your life on "walking in the love of Christ". What!?! What does that even mean?
Are you hungry for more from your faith in Jesus? Do you want to grow in your ability to imitate the love and power of God to others? Or are you curious as to what you'd be signing up for if you set your life to follow Jesus?
Then join us this Sunday as we explore what it means to be imitators of God, those walking in the love of Christ.
