    Moving Tips

      1. Packing requests
        a. Boxes provided by each department (start collecting now).
        b. Packing paper, markers, colored stickers, tape and tape guns provided by the church.
        c. Asset and inventory management - Prepare an inventory of everything you will be moving. Do this room by room.
        d. Pack as many items into boxes as possible. Keep the weight of your boxes reasonable. If possible, put heavy items in small boxes to make them easier to carry.
        e. Make labels clearly marked DO NOT MOVE for the items that the movers will not be moving. Make a list of the items you will take with you in your car and place these items in a separate area.
        f. Disassemble any items that need disassembly. Place all screws, nuts, washers, etc. in ziplock bags.

      2. Color/Naming Codes – Staging Area – The main auditorium and the new facility will have color coded staging areas for you to place all your boxes and other items
        a. Children's Ministry – Blue
        b. Hospitality – Green
        c. Worship – Red
        d. Media – Orange
        e. Miscellaneous - Yellow

    Temporary Accommodations

Safety is our greatest concern in the building. The bulletin will have a small map of the building, as well as simple drawings displayed at each room entrance. Due to safety issues several rooms will be closed off and we will not have our children’s ministry on our first service, but are designing temporary housing for our Children’s Ministry as we build their new home. Other spaces may be shared as the project proceeds. So, please pardon the dust...
