Beach Baptisms

Baptisms_web.jpg

Join us at the beach for lunch with friends and family. We will provide the protein, all you have to do is bring a side to share. Then, afterwards we will celebrate our brother's and sister's public declarations of faith in Jesus Christ!

We will be meeting at shelters #1 & #2 in Hanna Park. Click here for a map. Cost for entry into the park is $5 per vehicle, so be sure to carpool! If the cost of entry will keep you from joining us, please let us know and we will help you out!

So what are baptisms about anyway? Baptisms are a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ and of our decision to follow and serve Him as Lord, and as such, it serves as a sign of our entrance into the fellowship of His church. It is also a very meaningful and powerful symbol of what God has provided for us in Jesus: the forgiveness of our sins and the promise of everlasting life. You can read more about baptisms by downloading our booklet on baptisms here.

If you would like to be baptized, sign up below or fill out an information card and leave it in one of the dropboxes at church.
