What to Expect on Sunday

We love Sunday mornings and we see them as an exciting time to gather with our family and worship the Lord together. They are relaxed and inviting. Come as you are, shoes or no shoes. Take a few minutes before the service starts to visit the Information Center to find out what’s going on at Beaches Vineyard. Make sure to pick up a Visitor’s Packet from one of our Connect Team members.

Fellowship Before Service

We have coffee available in the lobby. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on us and spend some time with your family before the service starts.

Worship

Worship is central to the Beaches Vineyard. We love to worship and experience the presence of the Lord. Though the music is contemporary, we recognize that we are a part of an ancient and sacred tradition. In worship, we express our heart-felt love for our Creator as we come expectantly waiting to know Him more.

Tithe and Offering

About ten minutes into each service we offer up another form of worship to the Lord in the giving of our tithes and offerings. We see this as an expression of our appreciation and faith. Jesus said that where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. As we learn to trust the Lord with our finances we will always find our hearts turning more and more toward Him.

Sermons

In teaching the Word of God, our goal is to equip people to serve each other and connect with God. One thing that seems to come up consistently in conversation around the church is the transparency of the pastoral staff. The sermons always feel like the extension of a conversation that the pastor has been having with the Lord all week. This generally creates a deeper desire within us to have conversations with the Lord like this on our own. That is the beauty of the Bible – it is much more an invitation to relationship with Jesus than a book of rules for right living.

Communion and Ministry

At the end of each service there is an opportunity to connect with God in a personal way. Communion is offered up front along with prayer for those who feel the Lord leading them in that way. We view this as a time as a way to give the Lord space to move among His people and a time for His people to respond to the needs of one another. All this is done in a respectful, gracious and gentle manner.
