Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been discussing the Missio Dei, in a series that seeks to tell the story of God’s missions to restore the world.
As we’ve seen, God’s desire is that all of creation would once again be reunited into a loving transformative relationship with Him (Rev. 21). Therefore, God’s mission is for the whole world, but he chooses to select a specific group of people (Israel) to act as the representation and conduit of his divine loving plan.
One problem, though. The people he chooses, struggle to fulfill their calling and therefore struggle to live in the blessed life God promised them.
But how did they struggle?
Join us this Sunday as we explore the answer to that question, and its implications for our lives, in the continuation of our series, Missio Dei: Telling the Story.
