Connect Groups exist to direct our focus on God’s presence within us and all around us. It’s incredible how quickly this awareness can increase when surrounded by just a few souls on a similar journey.
Find a list of Connect Group offerings below. If you don’t see one that is nearby or meeting at a time that you can make, consider hosting your own group. Email Bobby to learn about that (simple) process

College Connect Group
Whether you are studying at one of our colleges in Jacksonville, or are simply college student age, welcome! Here are some ways to connect:
Young Life College
As a church we partner with the organisation Young Life for our college ministry. Ben Swanson is the Director of College Ministry for Young Life in Jacksonville, with a particular focus on UNF. If you want to join a student small group, social or adventure trip, no matter where you study, get in touch with Ben 904.705.1846 and check out Young Life College at UNF on instagram @ylcjax
We aim to grab lunch together somewhere local after the Sunday church service each week (starting August 29th) so look out for that and feel free to bring friends.
For more information on how to connect with our community, or to grab a chat to get to know eachother better, get in touch with Ben & Miriam Swanson and look out for them on Sundays: email@example.com @sonofmyrighthand @miriamgswanson
The Scriptures come to us with some very good news, namely: the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Mark 1:15), the kingdom of heaven is within you (Luke 17:21), that, Christ lives in me (Galatians 2:20) and because of this, who the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).
It is often habituated patterns of distraction that dampen our lived experience of this very good news. And so to habituate new patterns of awareness that align us with the truth of who we are in God, we will gather monthly to engage the ancient practices of the Christian tradition — lectio divina, visio divina, breath prayer, centering prayer, audio divina, meditation, Jesus prayer, visual journaling, creative arts, silence, etc — all invitations into the vastness of God, the clearing in the many-treed forest of a million things. All are welcome to join, at any time.
