Vineyard Essentials Night - October 2019

web.jpg

Vineyard Essentials nights have something for everyone. High school students are invited to join adults in one of the following topics.

Meta-Narrative (Formation): We're formed by the stories we consciously and unconsciously participate in called meta-narratives. Jesus believed in an ancient story, explained through the Bible. Our conversation will focus on an understanding of the meta-narrative of scripture, the role scripture played in forming the Vineyard movement, and how these stories participate in our ongoing personal spiritual formation.

Reaching for More (Missions): This conversation focuses on discovering ways we can partner with the Holy Spirit in the commonplaces of life; like schools, workplace, coffee shops, or gym. Jesus tells us the Father is always working, and we want to help equip people at Beaches Vineyard Church with tools for discerning and partnering with that work.

Middle school, upper elementary, and lower elementary have their own space on each of these nights structured to journey through Essential themes at an age-appropriate pace.

And childcare is offered for kindergarten and younger. So feel free to sign everyone up in your family all at once.

Alpha

Alpha_Registration.jpg

Alpha is a 10-week exploration of the Christian faith for new and non-Christians. Here’s how it works: Invite anyone in your life who might have questions about God, purpose, meaning, spirituality, etc. If you’d like, you can even come with them for the first couple of gatherings. We’ll serve a meal each night, present questions that are central to the Christian faith, encourage conversation, and create space for friendships to develop. The next Alpha starts on September 10th and runs for the following 9 Tuesday evenings. Be thinking about who you might want to invite!

Pause

Pause_web.jpg

We all strive to focus our undivided attention on God, to connect with Him and really feel His presence. Join us on the first Thursday of every month for Pause. This is a monthly gathering where we engage in a variety of spiritual practices that followers of Jesus have engaged in throughout the centuries to connect with the source of life.
