Spiritual direction is an ancient practice of accompanying another in observing  the presence of God in their everyday life. The roots of the practice grow from the Christian contemplative tradition: wisdom-in-silence / emptiness-in- stillness / freedom-in-awareness / rest-in-surrender. 

 

Details:

In general, directors request a donation in the range of 30-60$ per session. Sessions are one hour long, generally once a month. The first meeting has no cost and is primarily to hear each other’s story, answer any questions about direction, and feel out the fit. If both parties decide it’s a good fit, the next meeting is scheduled. The cost will not be a barrier, so if making a donation isn’t a possibility at the moment, just let us know and we can cover it through a scholarship fund.
