April 1, 2007 was our first service at the former Atlantic Theatres, a well known beaches landmark and performance arts center. We are excited and in awe at the incredible opportunities God is providing us in our new location. Continue reading... Three years ago "we" began our search for a new home because we had severely outgrown the one we were in on Third Street. About 7 months ago our landlord, at the time, put us on notice that they were going to begin an agressive search for another tenant who would agree to a long term lease, something we couldn't give them in light of the present size of our family. This notice meant we could be served at any moment with a 60 day notice to vacate the premises. Very soon after this notice the owner of the Atlantic Theatre, who had previously offered the possibility of leasing, made the offer official. We see this as an incredible provision with great potential for what Christ is leading us to do. The deal we made with the Theatre was extremely favorable; they left everything behind in a building that had not been updated to meet present day codes. This alone saved us $300K to $400K over having moved into similar facility not set up for "assemblies". This was an amazing gift. Who are we and what are we doing?
